BREAKING IN NEW TIRES:
Like a new car, new tires have a break in period, approximately 500 miles.
Tires are made in molds, requiring a lubricant coating the mold to help the tire come out when it's ready. A light coat of lubricant remains on the rubber when we install them on your car.
Use caution when driving, especially cornering and braking. Your tires will be slightly more slick at first, but this wears off quickly. It takes approximately 500 miles for the lubricant to wear off the tires for maximum performance.
