Brake Warning Signs
Do you know the warning signs that something is wrong with your brakes? Here are 5 important warning signs that you need to get your brakes checked:
1.) Unusual Noises - be aware of squeaking and grinding.
2.) Brake Warning Lights - warning lights usually mean low fluid.
3.) Pulling - something is wrong with your brakes if your vehicle pulls to one side during braking.
4.) Pedal Problems - any change in how the brake pedal feels, either "spongy" or hard to press down is a sign you need to get your brakes checked.
5.) Bad Vibrations - if your steering wheel, brake pedal, or vehicle shakes or vibrates, it could mean your brake rotors are warped and need to be replaced. Your tire pressure can be found in one of a few places, depending on your vehicle: on the inside of your gas door, the inside of the driver's side door, the glove box, or in your owner's manual.
If you notice any of these signs, please use caution while driving and have your brakes checked as soon as possible.
